This Cord has been touched to a relic of the Rock of Calvary. It comes with a booklet that tells the history of this particular sacramental in the Catholic Church. After his conversion St. Francis of Assisi girded himself in rough cords in honor of the cords that bound Our Lord during His passion. From his devotion came our devotion to St Francis' Cord.
